In the consumer sector, right to be informed as a fundamental right of consumers,how to protect the right to know is a problem worthy to be discussed in theory andpractice of law. Along with social economy development and the arrival of networkage, more and more people consume on the network, network became a kind ofbrand-new consumption pattern into people’s horizons, at the same time also broughta variety of violation of consumers’ right to know. According to the monitoring dataof chinese electronic commerce research center that e-commerce complaints about93600across the country in2012, the network consumer complaints accounted for55.4%. Because the network consumption has the characteristics of virtuality, off-sitethat different form traditional consumption, the protection of the consumers’ right toknow in the system makes the traditional consumption not suitable for the networkconsumption. The protection of the consumers’ right to know in network consumptionputs forward new challenges to the traditional consumer right protection system.Consumers’ right to know is the foundation of other rights implemented,consumers can buy gratified flexibly product is established on the basis of fullyunderstanding the commodities. Shown the importance of the consumers’ right toknow and the mode of protection to protect consumers’ right to know in networkconsumption, strengthen the protection of consumers’ right to know in networkconsumption are the key of the network market healthy and orderly development. Soperfect network consumption of consumer right protection system is imperative.This paper will be divided into four parts:The first part is about the overview of network consumption of consumers’ rightto know. First, through introducing the concept and features of network consumption,the difference between network and traditional consumption; Followed by thedefinition of consumer and business operator in network consumption subjectqualification; Finally through the network consumption in the consumers’ right to know the analysis of the relationship between the traditional consumption,interpreting the connotation of network consumption of consumers’ right to know.The second part is about the network consumption in the infringement typedanalysis of consumers’ right to know. Through violation of consumers’ right to knowin the network consumer behavior type of analysis, including fraud based on thenetwork operators in consumption psychology to infringe upon the behavior of theconsumers’ right to know, based on the network operator consumption in negligenceto infringe upon the behavior of the consumers’ right to know, based on the networkrestrictions may cause by the network consumption behavior of consumersmisunderstanding in proposed the present stage in protecting consumers’ right toknow problems in network consumption.The third part is about the cause of the phenomenon of violation of consumers’right to know in the network consumption analysis. Including legislation to protectconsumers’ right to know in network consumption insufficient, the disadvantage ofadministrative regulation, the business operator strong profit mentality and the weakof commercial reputation, infringement of network consumption of consumers’ rightto know of the relief mechanism is not perfect.The fourth part is about the right of protection of consumers’ right to know thenetwork consumption recommendations.Through the improvement of relevantlegislation for the protection of the rights to provide legal protection, strengthening ofadministrative authorities consumption of network monitoring and management,speed up construction of the operators within the industry to promote the healthydevelopment of network consumption, improve network consumption in violation ofconsumers’ right to relief system, improve our Internet consumption in consumers’right protection system.Through the network of consumer protection laws in the consumers’ right tostudy the problem, the network will consume the emergence of some new legalrelationship in a timely manner into our system of legal protection of consumers,enabling consumers’ legitimate rights and interests are effectively protected, protect the long-term development of network consumption.
