The piezoelectric actuator response fast and has no electromagnetic interference, and its structure is simple and can be designed flexibly. Because the development tendency of the fuse safety system is to be more intelligentized and smart, a fuse safety and arming device bases on the piezoelectric actuator’s characteristics is designed. The main work includes the following several aspects:Firstly, considering the design requirements of fuse safety system and the characteristics of the piezoelectric actuators comprehensively, the fuse safety and arming device is designed, and using the rotor of piezoelectric actuator directly as the flame-proof mechanism of the fuse security device, to make the device compact and simple, provide possibility for the miniaturization of the fuse safety system.Secondly, a linear piezoelectric actuator which will be used in fuse was designed The theoretical analysis and simulation analysis of the working mechanism of the actuator has been carried on to get the relationships between the locked-rotor thrust and amplitude of bending vibration and so on. Those provide great reference value for the optimization design.Then, according to the design requirements, optimization design are done for the stator of the piezoelectric actuator with the finite element analysis software ANSYS to make the frequency difference between the two working mode greatly reduce. The fuse safety and arming device are manufactured and assembled. Through the stator frequency response test, verify that using stack piezoelectric ceramics can effectively lower the driving voltage needed to drive.Finally, based on the special chip NSD-1202of piezoelectric actuator completed the hardware design of a low-voltage driving circuit of the piezoelectric actuator. The designed circuit is simple and small, and can control the reversible conversion between arming state and safety state of the fuse safety and arming device.Now the piezoelectric actuator develops rapidly. Applying the piezoelectric actuator to fuse will extend the environmental information that fuse can use. It has the good development prospect and realistic significance.
