Language is the carrier of culture, and also the important part of culture. For international students to study the Chinese language, study Chinese culture term is the key point and difficult point in learning Chinese vocabulary. At present academic circles mainly aims at the culture terms to the learners whose mother tongue is Chinese, and academic research about the vocabulary of culture terms is lack. In view of this, this paper choose the Chinese international education standard book which published in2010named "The Graded Chinese Syllables, Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages" as data, analysis the culture terms in the above book and analysis international students’ master culture terms condition through questionnaire.This paper first summarized the previous culture terms study, next analysis culture terms in the above book, then select45culture terms as data and select40different HSK levels international students as the research object, through the questionnaire survey to investigate students’master and Cognitive condition of Chinese culture terms. We analysis questionnaire survey results through excel and charts.The conclusion of this study is listed below:Chinese culture terms are widely distributed and rich in the above book. International students’culture terms acquisition is influenced by culture terms difficulty degree of words, interestingness of culture terms and learning strategies. The frequency of International Students use culture terms is proportional to Student’s levels, they are interested in the textbook culture terms, especially idioms and idiomatic phrases. The main difficult points for students’culture terms studies are not understand the meaning of culture terms and don’t know how to use culture terms.Based on the results of the questionnaire and combined with Chinese semantics and cross-cultural communication theory, this paper put forward teach culture terms in stages, enhance teaching interestingness and use diversified teaching strategies when teaching culture terms.This subject mainly uses the literature review, quantitative analysis, investigation and analysis research methods. The research results of this paper could be a guiding for Chinese culture terms teaching, it also could be a reference for revision of teaching Chinese as second language syllabus and Chinese culture terms textbook writing.
