The number of international students in China more and more, the number of people learning Chinese in foreign countries is also rising, especially a growing number of Chinese character culture circle countries started to attach importance to the study and promotion of Chinese and increasingly highlight the importance of making Chinese characters teaching. But in today’s Chinese teaching, there is no students according to different countries adopt teaching strategies suitable for them, make them different levels of Chinese characters, the nowadays Chinese character teaching is an urgent need to solve the problem.The author in view of the Chinese characters teaching, the existing problems in the United States in Beijing academic program for beginners CET American students Chinese characters in Chinese corpus investigation analysis, make the age of the subjects, the study background, level of education, Chinese level are consistent. Subjects, a total of18people, are around the age of18adult college students in the United States. Level of mother tongue is English, all are primary, using teaching material for my Chinese. The author collected496Chinese characters, these characters involved upper and lower structure, control structure, surrounded by four categories fit words and DuTiZi structure and frame structure. There are bias type four categories, namely:stroke of errors, the errors of the component, and the structure of the bias, a whole word errors. Change parts errors also can be divided into parts, parts of ZengSun, parts image deformation and displacement of three categories.Secondly, the author according to the institute of survey data, analyze the causes of errors of Chinese characters are the following:a, Chinese characters with its native language has great difference between the investigation object of this article are the American students, native language is English. Structurally speaking, Chinese characters is a kind of flat form of text, while English alphabet writing for linear array. Chinese characters using the two dimensional space to express information, and English is to use pinyin to identify. From the characteristics of writing, Chinese characters as a whole is the sound, form and meaning, to record of Chinese morpheme symbols, not only to learn the Chinese characters to bosom friend, know righteousness will know. Second, the students learning attitude and the influence of learning strategies. The Chinese character culture circle to the commissioner of the Chinese characters and the fear of students. This can make the students in learning to write Chinese characters are the first impressions are most lasting impression that they find Chinese characters difficult to write, hard to remember. This has caused more and more errors.Finally, summarizes the types of errors, the reason and the learning characteristics of students, the author put forward some suggestion for today’s Chinese characters teaching:(1) teaching content:1. In the teaching, pay attention to the same emphasis on distinguishing strokes and letters.2in the teaching, to emphasize Chinese pen and pencil.3in the teaching, pay attention to teaching students form of distortion of commonly used parts.4in the teaching, pay attention to the shape character of writing teaching. Ii. Teaching methods:the author suggests that in the teaching of Chinese characters, can use modern education technology and the multimedia teaching of Chinese characters, so that the students can see big screen Chinese characters written presentations in class. In class, also can use this software to practice writing, do consolidate under class, practice, and to prevent class, under the disjointed. Three, the curriculum areas:primary stage, the special characters should be taught lessons.
