Net Literature, having experienced the embryonic stage, the doubt of the public, then the stage of being accepted and the present statement of being a great challenge to the traditional literature in the past two decades, has gained a new life as an overwhelming trend for network cultural and literatural phenomenon. The literary field begins to attach importance to the Net Literature, meanwhile the related researches have made great progress, and some agreements have been achieved in various aspects, such as the conception, characteristics, the comparison with the traditional literature and the appreciation and judgement of the works.This thesis probes into the aesthetic characteristics of network literature. With the aim of bring forth new understanding and explanations to the question, the author has read a large amount of literature representative works on the internet. By the appreciation of works in different periods, different types and different styles, the author has learnt a lot from previous relevant research.
