With the development of the population old-aged, the rural elderlyendowment problem is becoming more and more serious. In China, thedevelopment of the business of the rural social pension insurance lagsbehind. This is a truly fact. We believe that both in the past and at present,even in the very long period of time, the solution for the problem of the ruralold-aged security are based on the family. However, the development ofeconomic globalization, the process of urbanization speedy up, and thedevelopment of social economy, politics, cultural are making a far-reachinginfluence on family pension mode, which will be shaking the status of therural family pension. However, in the vast rural areas of our country, thefamily pension mode not only has the rich culture, and throughout history,the family endowment has always been the first choice of the rural pension.So the choice of the family endowment plays a very important role to therural social stability and development.This paper takes L village in Shanxi Province as a case, the author usedthe method of the main field survey, described the family pension mode ofthe L village, and analyzed and discussed the reasons that caused theproblems on the family pension of the L village. At last, the author made theintervention in practice from the point of view of being a social workerwhen the L village had faced with many questions and problems in thefamily endowment. The author not only designed the intervention program,implemented the specific intervention process, and analyzed and evaluatedthe effect of intervention. And then, the author hope that L village can bettermanage the transformation and the challenges from the whole society, at thesame time, the author also hope that through this paper, we can solve theproblems of the other villagers in L village and even the problems exacted in other rural areas in our country, and provide reference when people facingproblems and troubles in the process of family pension.The main part of the article through combining the concrete casesexacted in the L village, respectively discussed several aspects in details asfollows: first of all, the place of the old people in the home is low. They arenot respected, and lack of caring in daily life. During the old people wassick and be in hospital, all the expensive medical expenses was a seriouseconomic burden for the adult children, which made family pension modeface serious challenges. Secondly, at the same system of the big family, therelations of family members are abnormal tension because they has to facedifferent kinds of endowment conditions, which seriously influenced thequality of the family pension mode. Thirdly, the adult children did notrespect the old people which lead to the satisfaction of the old man tochildren is very low. And the old people were emotional pessimistic, sullenin everyday. These are all shaking the foundational position of the familypension mode in L village. And then, at the final section of the article, theauthor being a professional social worker involved in L village, wanted tosolve the specific problems exacted in family pension of the L village, anddesigned the scheme. The author selected two cases in L village, which hasmore prominent troubles in family endowment, analyzed the specificendowment problems that the old people faced, designed the solutions,made in practice, and evaluated and summarized the effects for the solutionof the problems.
