After the reform and opening up, with the rural landcontract responsibility system, and the taxation system change, rural cooperative medicalsystem is rapid disintegrate, thereafter rural children’s medical security has been in a stateof blank. In2003, the new rural cooperative medical has been put into practice on a trialbasis, more and more rural areas establish the new type of rural cooperative medical caresystem for rural residents. The purpose of this thesis is to discuss the main problems ofrural children’s medical security system in the process of implementation, and putforwards the corresponding strategies.In order to understand the process of health care of children in rural areas, to explore amore targeted measures to solve the problems, and promote the establishment anddevelopment of children’s medical security system in rural areas. The research object ofthis thesis is rural children in Donggao of Pinggu District. The research methods of thisthesis are questionnaire, interview and literature research. This paper first reviews thedevelopment history of rural medical security of children in China, combing the presentsituation of China’s rural medical security system. Secondly, through empirical research onrural medical security of Donggao Town of Pinggu district, data collection, and statisticalanalysis of relevant data, research on the implementation of children health security andevaluate the operation mechanism. By the end, summary and Analysis on children’s healthsecurity problem research, put forward the corresponding countermeasures to improverural medical security system in china.
