This paper learns from the outcome of researches of Educational Encouragement Theory domestic and overseas, and it aims at investigating how to put "Lei Feng Spirit" into practice for the young with the usage of Educational Encouragement Theory.This paper consists of five major parts. Part1:This part expounds the concept of Educational Encouragement and how it distinguishes from other kinds of educational activities. It also gives a detailed introduction to the function of Educational Encouragement. Part2:In this part, the connotation of Lei Feng Spirit is summarized and analyzed in backgrounds of the times. Part3:This part tries to build a long-term mechanism and system of Lei Feng Spirit’s youth practice by making use of Educational Encouragement principles of Direction, Validity and Integrity. Part4:The Comprehensive Educational Encouragement Mode to be built is a effective combination of diverse Educational Encouragement modes as well as a way to mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of Lei Feng Spirit’s youth practice comprehensively in multi-levels. This mode is based on scientific theories and has been given a strong sense of practical application. Also, it’s certainly innovative. Part5:In this part, specific contents of Lei Feng Spirit’s youth practice is summarized, aimed at making the majority of young become the backbone of the socialist modernization of China by practicing Lei Feng Spirit.
