Research On The Culture Construction Of CPC Primary Organizations In Universities

The Communist Party of China (CPC) is the ruling party in China, whose culture hasprofound and lasting impact on China’s economic and social development. With itsdistinctive features, the culture of the CPC primary organizations in universitiesstands out as a specific type of CPC culture. Through the cultivation of talents, such aculture also exerts profound and enduring impact on China’s economic and socialdevelopment. Research on CPC culture，especially on the culture of CPC primaryorganizations in universities, is still in the early stage. To perform the leading andradiating function of CPC culture, attention should be given to the cultureconstruction of CPC primary organizations in universities, and more study should bedone on this topic.This thesis studies the content, basic functions and the main characteristics of theculture of CPC primary organizations in universities. Combining both qualitative andquantitative methods, and from the perspectives of organizational culture andideological and political education, the thesis systemically analyzes the existingprominent problems and their possible causes, and puts forward basic principles andmajor solutions accordingly.The thesis observes the culture of the CPC primary organizations in universities as aspecific type of CPC culture. It takes into account of the changing situations of theParty, the country and the world, thus making the conclusion more targeted to ourtimes.The originalities of the research run as follows: it gets above the routine subject oforganizational culture or campus culture of the university; the author gives asystematic summary of the main viewpoints and put forward his original ideas of thefive main functions, five main features, three cardinal principles, and four mainmeasures of the culture of the university’s grassroots Party organization; and hemakes a comparative study of the culture of the university’s grassroots Partyorganization and that of the corporate grassroots Party organization so as to highlightthe unique features of the culture of the university’s grassroots Party organization.
