Research Endowment Elderly Left Behind In Rural Poor Areas

According to the sixth national census data that be published by the National Bureau of Statistics of, it is obvious that the aging problem in China has impeded the society development in a large extent, which has aroused extensive attentions from the public. With the rapid economic development and the accelerated urbanization, the quick flow of rural labor makes a great deal of elders are left-behind.Today China has entered into the rank of aging countries; the quick urbanization has made the elders in rural areas more easily to be left behind. This serious situation has become the discussing focus of publics. In order to recognizing the real situation of left-behind elders in rural areas, the writer personally investigated left-behind elders through using the way of structured-questionnaire and semi-structured approaches. Besides, this article combined the theory (based on reference a great deal of books, journals and professional data) to deeply recognize the living situation of rural left-behind elders. By interviewing the left-behind elders, their offspring and their neighbors, the writer want to find an appropriate way to solve their living problems.This article takes the Laishui Z village in Hebei province as an typical case to analyze the situation of its left-behind elders. This article has been divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction of this article’s purpose and analysis background, the supporting theory’s system, the research approach and the initiative points. The second part aims at introducing the theoretical basis in both internationally and nationally. The third part is an important part of this article, which tries to figure out the real situation of left-behind elders by using the structured-questionnaire approaches. The Fourth part is the investigation of the care situation of left-behind elders from different values and diverse aspects. The fifth part is the core of the article, which extracts the suggestion to solve the problem of left-behind elders through the research results. Through the analysis of the left-behind elders’real situation in Laishui village, this article tries to find the appropriate solution to solve the problem of how to support the left-behind elders.
