A Study On The Pension Problem Of The Elder Left Behind In Rural Areas

China has entered an aging society.The elderly problem has become a major problem that must be solved first.Compared with other old people,the old people left behind in the countryside are living harder lives.The pension problem of the elders left behind in rural areas is pertty important,we should pay more attention to it.The left elders don't have their children living around their,and the rural areas where they staying in is backward in economy,so their lives are really hard,and their spiritual world is very empty.There are many reasons for this group's coming into being,the difference between urban and rural,social injustice,their own thinkings,the lack of filial piety culture,and so on.This paper aims at the backward areas of China,Wuyi County.Through consulting the papers and magazines,I have learned the research trends in this field and got much knowledge.Based on this,I went to Wuyi to investigate what the elders' lives are really like,and found that the elders characteristics:more and more younger people are joining them,their lives are harder than others',and there are some contradictions in their hearts.By conducting a questionnaire survey,I learnt that the elders left behind in rural areas are mainly facing five problems:the poor material condition,the poor medical condition,the emptiness of the spiritual worlds,the lacking of good care,and the shortcomings of service institutions.Then I discussed what the reasons of these problems are.Based on the surveys,I put forward suggestions in six aspects to make the elders left behind in rural areas happier,such as let the rural economy develop,increase security and legal support,provide some suitable employment opportunities for the elders,and so on.This article is to break the already existing thinkings,proposes to change the government's subsidy way to the pension market,and I trys to find a combination of modern technology and the old-age care for the elders.I hope that this article can help the elders left behind in rural areas live a better life.
