With the era of development and social progress, individual consciousnessawakening, the awakening of individual consciousness has led to changes the conceptof moral education, people feeling the traditional moral education becomes more andmore increasingly obvious drawbacks in terms of the educational contents andmethods. Therefore, how to improve the effectiveness of moral education in schools isan important issues, it urgent need to explore and resolve by moral educators.Experience-based moral education theory has brought a new perspective and methodto the field of moral education, it has provided a new mode of education to improvethe effectiveness of experience-based moral education.The paper examine the reasons of effectiveness of moral education inuniversities, that one of the important reason of the effectiveness of moral educationin universities is the traditional intellectual and moral education drawbacks, such as:the single evaluation system, formalize education, moral education away from theliving world. Explore the experience-based of moral education based on the theory ofcontent. The paper argues that the important value of experience-based moraleducation in universities is reflected in: respect for the subjectivity of the object ofeducation, pay attention to the students’ moral sentiments formation and focus onimproving students’ main reflective thinking skills. The paper focuses on the contentand implementation methods of experience-based moral education in universities,both the content and methods have emphasized the subjectivity of educational objects.In terms of contents, around the main areas of practice, contains culture students’ mainpersonality, enhance the capacity of virtue contacts, generate a sense of civicresponsibility and develop the virtues of ecological civilization; In terms of methods,explore five implementation methods of experience-based moral education inuniversities: emotional ease type, theme experiential type, situational infection type,project research type and the quality of development type, with more personalized,more human culture, more life and more subjectivity ways go into the student’s innerworld, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of moral education.The paper mainly used the documentary research methods, comparative studymethods and analysis methods approach to study the experience-based moraleducation in universities, experience-based moral education can help us more deeplyaware of the human needs, return to the living world truly, learn from practice,promote the body and soul exchange between the main body of educational objects.
