During the Anti-Japanese War, so the education was difficult to be developed due tothe war. Gansu province lies in the rear erea of northwest. Therefore, the environmentwas relatively stable. Under the attention of the central and local and the support of alllevels people, Gansu social education still had development space. The social educationhad a special side. Some parts of Gansu province were still governed byShanxi-Gansu-Ningxia bord region. The regions leaded by the bord region governmentand ruled by KMT had the same characteristics on the social education. They are width,mandatory, wartime and interest. However, there were still some differences amongorganizational forms, concrete implementation method, content and the publicparticipation of masses on social education. These differences reflected that theCommunist Party transacted social education more successfully. Of course, both parties’social education had their own advantages and disadvantages. They also provided ussome valuable experiences for today’s education.
