Education for all-around development and New Curriculum Standard of biology for senior high school calls for new demands. It is very necessary to take the Second Class activities as a biological teaching complement and a main biological learning form. Presently, the Second Class activities are taken in various forms yet lacks specific theoretical guidance. In this thesis, the teaching research and practice on biology Second Class activities in senior high school were carried out by using literature review, case analysis and questionnaire survey. Such Second Class activities involved making small ecological bottles, the investigation of breakfast, the investigation of students’ sleep condition, information collection of organism invasion, corn planting in campus and love my hometown lecture. The research results showed as follows:It is very necessary for the school to carry out the Second Class activities, which can be operated in different forms. The Second Class activities could not affect, but in turn, promoted the daily teaching. The students developed the abilities of self-learning, cooperative learning and explorative learning. The relation between teachers and students was also improved. |
