Teaching Middle School Language Of Modern Literary Style

Literary style teaching is a significant part of Chinese reading instruction in the middle school. Literary style teaching is meaningful and has several implications such as literary style knowledge teaching, literary works teaching. Modern Chinese literary works are wonderful data and material for literary style teaching. However, in the practice of Chinese teaching, literary style teaching is usually less considered, especially by the influence of the "desalination literary style" concept. This is not only showed in the students’ lack of stylistic awareness and their incapable in reading&writing, but also reflected in the teaching practice of the teachers and the negative effects resulted by the neglect of literary style. In this paper, the writer tries to analyze and discuss this issue on the basic of an overview of the research achievements in the recent30years.The first chapter is to summarize the research achievements in the recent30years about literary style teaching, and get a brief view of the present situation of literary style teaching in middle school through the questionnaire survey analyses.The second chapter is to clarify the significant and the necessity literary style teaching of Chinese modern literary works. Chinese modern literary works are befitting data and material for literary style teaching. This part shows the significant and the necessity in the terms of the practical need of Chinese reading instruction and the correction for the negative influence of improper teaching means.The third chapter comes up to the main details of literary style teaching, which including literary style knowledge teaching and literary works teaching. Then discuss the details from the point of four literary styles, which are essays, novels, poems, dramas.The forth chapter is to discuss how to improve the situation of literary style teaching. The method&strategy referred are as followed:set up correct concept of literary style teaching; try to avoid unification and stereotype of the literary style teaching; hold the desalination of literary style moderately; strengthen the research of literary style; make the use of the Language Teaching Curriculum Standard.In a word, literary style teaching plays a important role of Chinese reading instruction in the middle school. Chinese modern literary works are valuable resources for literary style teaching. The current literary style teaching needs to be improved. We need to set up correct concept of literary style teaching and avoid unification and stereotype of the literary style teaching. The desalination of literary style should be hold moderately. We should pay attention to develop the stylistic awareness of the student.
