In the context of the new curriculum reform, the senior high schoolChinese required textbooks by Shandong People’s Press with prominentfeature of active learning become a distinctive version of high school Chinesetextbooks. Classical Chinese poetry and prose, which contains the Chinesenation’s Great Spirit and carries forward traditional Chinese culture, is one ofthe types of required reading text in high school language textbooks. Theexercise system is one of the four systems constituting a language textbook; itnot only has to detect students’ learning effect, reveal text heavy and difficultand improve language qualities, and also carries the basic idea of the languagecurriculum reform. Studying them can improve textbook reform andcontribute to teachers’ effective use of teaching materials to enhance the effectof students’ learning and teachers’ teaching. Thus this article research theexercise system of classical Chinese poetry and prose in the senior highschool Chinese required textbooks by Shandong People’s Press superficially.This paper puts to use Documentary research method, comparisonmethod and analysis of inductive method. Based on careful interpretation ofthe exercise system of classical Chinese poetry and prose in the senior highschool Chinese required textbooks by Shandong People’s Press, this papersummarizes and analyses it mainly from three aspects of the characteristicsand advantages, shortcomings and deficiencies, the use of strategiessynthesizing academic research in this regard.
