Study On The Development Of Golf In Shan Dong Province

Research objective:Golf, the most popular sport around the world, like soccer and tennis, is also one of the sports which has the most economic value. In conditions of rapid economic development, golf has got considerable development in China, but the national policy, club management and the awareness of golf all hinder the development of golf. This paper, taking the development of golf in Shan Dong Province as the study subject, analyzes the policy context and economic environment of golf development and, as well as its personnel training, consumer groups, pitch conditions and other factors, which influence the development of golf. Combined with SWOT analysis, it seeks the problems and the influencing factors in the golf new stage of development and puts forward measures to promote the balanced development of golf in Shan Dong Province.Research methods:documents, semi-structural interview Research results:The survey found the following main factors affecting the development of golf in Shan Dong Province: First, golf personnel training and personnel requirements are not fit(A) the number of college golf training is not satisfied with the needs of the market(B) there are the contradictions of training types and demand Second, the biased social understanding to the golf(A) between environmental protection and construction of golf courses, there is awareness of the conflict(B) the vast majority of people think golf is a noble sport Third, the game of golf is uneven in regional development(A) golf develops rapidly in economically developed urban, while golf courses are less in underdeveloped regions.(B) the degree of competition in the golf market has significant regional differences. Fourth, the golf management systems are disordered(A) trade status is unclear, resulting in multi-management or non-management(B) the organization of the golf competitions is not clear, with little league matches. Fifth, national policy limits the number of golf course, curbing the blind development of golf.Conclusions and recommendations:the development of golf should be included in the local sports development planning.
