Values education is an important part of the theory of moral education, is the eternal subject of education. To establish a personal values, closely related to basic education and cultural background. Task of high school language teachers have the responsibility and obligation to undertake construction of students the correct values and the training of students’independent personality, so as to cultivate the high-quality talents for the society. The purpose of this paper is to help the students to absorb nutrition from the excellent classical poems, thus inheriting Chinese excellent traditional culture, construct scientific, correct values.Chinese teaching at the present stage, is from the examination-oriented education to quality education by the traditional methods to modern teaching methods, by words, simple teaching to a new stage of teaching values. The middle school language new curriculum standard of middle school Chinese teaching, we should pay special attention to cultivating students emotion, attitude and values. In today’s multi-cultural society, a variety of values and a new concept of survival in the senior high school students hearts collide. Of course, pluralistic values is of important significance to the psychology of the healthy growth of high school students, but also easy to form a wrong concept of value and moral standard and other negative effects, such as the current among the youth values individualism, hedonism, money first, utilitarian wrong conception etc.. For these cases, teachers should actively guide. Especially as a Chinese teacher, also have the responsibility and obligation to the correct value conception to students’ ideas.This paper first discusses the basic meaning of the values, basic content on the values contained and people for values of understanding. Through the questionnaire way of summing up the problems existing in current values of middle school students. Objective, accurate survey.Secondly, classical poetry teaching high school in the rich value connotation, mainly has the values of patriotism, collectivism, personal idealism values, respectively, points out the important function of fostering a sense of the value of high school students.Finally, in view of the current situation of senior high school students values and the existing problems, put forward to improve students’ ability of appreciation of classical poetry through as the breakthrough point, in order to create a classroom, classroom discussion and adapt textbook drama as the main content, to optimize the teaching of classical poetry, classical poems of the ability of students to improve the value of.The innovation point of this paper is to use the classical poetry class discussion and adaptation of classical poetry and drama, classical poetry learning and students’ classroom activities combined, subject to students for discussion and activities, establish the value for students.
