Children is a special group in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the development of children’s foreign language teaching is still in the stage of groping for in advance. Teaching materials is an important problem to be solved in this field. The main content of this paper is the compiling of children’s foreign language teaching material. How to choose the topic of teaching material and how to layout the content are the key points of this paper.Chapter one is the preface of the paper.It includuces the meaning, domestic and foreign research,the basic theories and the analyzing method,expected value and the application prospect of the paper.Chapter two mainly through to "the happy to learn Chinese "and" international children’s Chinese "the two sets of teaching material contents of the subject classification, statistics out the two sets of teaching materials and the advantage of topic, two sets of teaching materials subject layout systems analysis.Chapter three is mainly to the Chinese as a second language to learn students and children’s foreign language teachers to questionnaire survey, which sums up the children’s popular topic and teachers think important and necessary into the teaching subject advantages.Chapter four is about the suggestions come out in three aspects which are "the topic content arrangement, topic and outline the relationship between". Hoping that in the number of topic, the proportion, the reproduction rate, layout and improvement on genre and more scientific way of arrangement according to the different gender of the children.
