In this study, Wuhai Vocational and Technical College Mining Engineering Department of coal mining students as the experiment object. Then from4natural classes with a total of120people, divided into the experimental group and the control group2class2class. The experimental study of improving students’ basic skill of using the required course of badminton. This article used the literature material law, consult the badminton teaching articles, teaching outline, badminton teaching books, and engaged in the badminton teaching teachers and experts to visit, and a questionnaire survey of students, through the teaching experiment, mathematical statistics the basic situation of students, and to explore a comprehensive analysis of all kinds of information, theoretical analysis on the influence factors of the basic skill of badminton, and scientific analysis and Discussion on the experimental results, the problem in the experiment, draws the conclusion on the basis of comparison, the argument about the conclusion and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, on the basis of experiments and survey, combined with badminton professional theory and skills tactical formation laws and characteristics, analysis of main factors influencing college students’badminton teaching, to absorb the advantages of traditional teaching, in the class under the condition of unchanged, in the basic technique teaching, purposeful, conscious in the students learn and master the technical movements at the same time, improve the technical application ability.Conclusions of the study are as follows:1. From the teaching before and after a single game results statistics, the teaching of experimental group was better than the control group.2. From the "meters" font field mobile shot detection results obtained, the experimental group in place better than the control group in the way, step and hit the ball, the two groups have significant differences. 3. From the Teaching Games serve situation analysis, optimize the teaching of basic skills, with only32hours of teaching time, the experimental group to master and use in serving technique are significantly stronger than that in the control group, not only the high quality of service, service stability, scoring rate, error rate is better than the control group.4. From the comparative analysis of two group technical ability teaching basic skills obtained after the optimization, the experimental group, the lofty ball drop shot, smash, rubbing the ball and other individual technique and kill, hanging net combination technique is better than that of the control group.5. Ball practice time in training in the more long more can stimulate the students’self-study consciousness. Not only improves the teaching efficiency, but also promotes the effective to reach the goal of teaching, and have a strong interest in badminton.Research shows that:in the ordinary university students in badminton teaching of basic skills, the method for optimizing the basic technology, mainly by self "ball exercises", AIDS is simple, easy operation, good; experimental method solves the training venues, training density, exercise time, exercise initiative and other difficult coordination problems.
