At present, the quality of our farmers is not at a high level as a whole, which is asymmetry with the construction of new socialist countryside farmer quality demand, the key to the solution is to increase rural human capital investment, to carry out the new training of farmers, the cultivation of new farmers with culture, technology, management. Rural modern distance education is a new education and training of farmers in the development of modern information technology on the basis, it sets the broadcast, television, network education and other advantages as a whole, which has a wide scope of radiation, with characteristics of openness, flexibility. The development of modern distance education provides a cultivation for new farmers and an opportunity to improve the quality of farmers.This study will be based on the empirical research in northern village of Ren of Jiangsu province, with the analysis of the origin of modern distance education in rural job promotion, to explore its microcosmic process specific village in the field that based on the understanding of the macroscopic background, and from the promotion, the villagers and cadres to analysis for peasants’ attitude and behavior choice on the modern distance education promotion, which also deeps the reason of modern distance education’ promotion of mining from the village of rheology.Therefore, the core concern of this research is:why did not the modern distance education in rural areas with needs groups in the village of Ren get success, and what is the deep mechanism behind it?The paper is divided into five chapters:the first chapter mainly expounds the research origin of this thesis, related research literatures at home and abroad, and puts forward the research method and the training thought of this paper, and a brief introduction of the case village. The second chapter describes the case village of modern distance education to promote the implementation of the background, the villagers and cadres for the modern distance education and its extension into the attitude. The third chapter mainly studies the dilemma of rural modern distance education efforts after entering the village, village cadres and villagers’attitude changes:changing from the initial expectations and joy into frustration and doubt. The fourth chapter focuses on the case of village of modern distance education work to promote the implementation of failure, the author mainly from the villagers, village cadres and the promotion in three aspects. The fifth chapter is the conclusion part, which explores the deep logic over the flowing of modern distance education in rural development.
