Chemistry science is an experimental science, and the soul of teaching is experiment. The forming and development of chemistry originates from and depends on experiment. Therefore, chemistry experiments in senior high school are very important. In autumn of2009, the new curriculum reformation was carried out in GanSu Province, and much more attention was paid to the students’experiment. However, at present, experimental teaching in senior high school is not optimistic in GanSu Province, needing further research and perfection. It is very important for every child to open the windows of studying chemistry and increase the interest on chemistry effectively,In this paper, with the investigation and literature research, we study the current situation of chemistry experimental teaching since new curriculum reformation was implemented in GanSu Province and the primary cause to the situation. By that, we explore the effect of mode of college entrance examination on teaching idea and teaching behavior, and also, the ideal way of experimental evaluation is studied. In the process of completing this paper, the questionnaires of teachers, students and experimenters were prepared separately, and a sample survey was conducted among the part of the teachers and the students in most parts of the province. At the same time, we make up an interview outline, and interview randomly instructors, teachers and experimenter from above several dimensions.The results of the survey showed that the chemical experiment teaching situation of gansu province is not optimistic, the main problems are as follows:(1) Teachers’ experimental concept is poor and experimental subject is unclear;(2) More theory、 plate play、video insyead of Students’ test;(3) Pay more attention to test scores, despite of experiment process’evaluation;(4) Experiment content comes from "books",break away from real life;(5) The experimental evaluation method is single. Due to the current situation of the main reasons are as follows:(1) Local governments to inadequate education;(2) Departments of education about the attention is not enough;(3) Teachers Professional dedication is not strong;(4) The university entrance exam washback of experiment teaching. Aiming at the problems of experimental teaching in Gansu province and the cause of this situation, the author puts forward the relative perfect opinions as follows:(1) To change the teaching ideas, from pays attention to the cultivation of examination skills to pay attention to the cultivation of practice ability;(2) To optimize the teaching methods, putting the confirmatory experiment into the zetetic experiment;(3) To complete the teaching content, putting be "pure" experiment into real situation;(4) To update the experimental idea, adding the "green lab" and "mini experiment" in teaching;(5) To optimize evaluation mechanism, putting a single evaluation way into diverse evaluation model. The countermeasures are proposed in the paper and we would love to offer reference to chemical experiment teaching.
