Research On Sustainable Development Countermeasures Of Modern Distance Education Project In Fujian Province

Since the twenty-first century, with the rapid development of information technology, human society quickly stepped into the information age, social information is an inevitable requirement of education information. In the process of education information, affected by geography, economics, history and many other factors, with poor teacher quality and limited educational resources, the development of basic education in rural areas is far behind the urban areas. In order to narrow the gap between rural areas and urban areas in teaching resources, teaching conditions, the teaching level and the teaching quality. In September.2003, the State Council at the National Rural Education Conference proposed the implementation of "Modern Distance Education Project" in rural primary and secondary schools, to promote the sharing of high-quality education resources in towns and countries and improve the quality and efficiency of rural education.Fujian Province started the Modern Distance Education Project since2005. In the eight years, the project achieved initial success in the process of rural education information. As the project develops deeply, many problems also appear, and they restrict the sustainable development of the Modern Distance Education Project.On the basis of the modern distance education theory, system theory and sustainable development theory, by the method of literature research, questionnaire and interview, we make a survey of the present situation of the Modern Distance Education Project in Fujian province. As to the problems found in the survey, we propose some corresponding countermeasures, in order to provide some practical guiding significance for the sustainable development of the Modern Distance Education Project in Fujian province.
