From China’s social development and educative reform in recent years, we can see that fostering students’competence has an important position in the teaching of physics in middle schools, and the college entrance examination is an important means of evaluating senior high school students’competence in physics. This paper using SOLO theory to analyze the ability structure of the physics examination paper in recent three years so as to discover the approximately distribution and general trend of all levels of abilites in Physics examination papers, so that we can find that college entrance examination values ability test of students’imagination, thinking ability and innovation ability. This paper uses theories to analyze the effect of primitive physics problems in some facets as developing students’dynamic thinking,the ability of physical imagination and thinking, the application abilities of physical knowledge and mathematical tools and so on. At last we use experimental method to study the training effect of primitive physics problems in students’physical abilities. After the experiment, we tested the physical abilities of students,and analyzed the data. From the data histogram and t test results, we can confirm that introducing primitive physics problems in high school teaching has certain effect of improving students’physical competence.
