Preschool education is the foundation of compulsory education, the preschooleducational informationization is an organic component of the educational informationization.Preschool teachers’ information literacy is the key to the development of preschooleducational informationization. So, it is necessary to improve the preschool teachers’information literacy to promote the process of the educational informationizationdevelopment.In order to discuss the present situation of preschool teachers’ information literacy and itsinfluence factors in Henan province, the author refer to some experts and Dr’ questionnaire ofteachers’ information literacy, and then according to the four aspects specific content of theinformation literacy, finally become the questionnaire of the preschool teachers’ informationliteracy in Henan province as used in this research. The author mainly selected the four citiesin Henan province: Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Xuchang, Jiaozuo. And questionnaires to the fourcities’ preschool teachers, a total of474valid questionnaires. The test of reliability andvalidity of the questionnaire survey results is meet the demand. The questionnaire includingfour aspects: information consciousness, information knowledge, information ability andinformation morality. The author also interview five preschool teachers, the interview mainlyabout how the every background factor influence the preschool teachers’ information literacy.This research also investigate some schools that train students for preschool teachers, such asShangqiu Preschool Normal School, Xinxiang Preschool Normal School, Xuchang PreschoolNormal School, the educational science academy of Henan university. The investigation ismainly about the correlated curriculum setting, the attention of the school and the students’attitude and so on. According to the results of research, the preschool teachers’ informationliteracy is in the medium level in Henan province, the research shows that the preschoolteachers’ information consciousness is in high level, but the other aspects need to be improved,especially the preschool teachers’ information knowledge and information skills, etc. Thereare many factors influence the preschool teachers’ information literacy, such as gender, age,education level, years spent teaching, the informationize facilities of preschool and so on, hasa significant influence on the preschool teachers’ information literacy. Based on the above, theauthor put forward some suggestions from the three angles: the government level, the schools and training institutions level and the preschool level. These suggestions are come forward inorder to provide the reference to development of the preschool teachers’ information literacy.
