Make the students love geography.This paper presents research on the use of poetry in geography teaching in middle school fromthe view of literary geography, The poetry was introduced into the field of geography, broaden thegeography education resources, rich and full research on the junior high school geography teaching in basiceducation, promoting teachers’ development; At the same time, analyzes and summarizes the currentsituation of junior high school students, there is coordination mutually beneficial to junior middle schoolgeography curriculum and teachers, promote the junior middle school geography education forward,change the classroom at the same time that the junior high school geography classroom more popular with the students.After reading the related literatures of poetry in the teaching of geography, based on the existingresearch results, I summarized the related theories in junior high school geography teaching, the currentdomestic and international research on this topic and the lack of current research. Then determine thebackground, the ideas, the framework of the research in this paper. Combined with case teaching, Itdiscussed the design principles of design case, the type of design case and the problems need to payattention of design case on poetry in geography education in junior middle school. And apply the theory tothe practice, put poetry into the classroom, obtained data through a questionnaire survey, according to thedata analysis of poems by bring the effect in geography education in junior middle school, thensummarized the corresponding strategy. At the end of the article, summarizes the conclusions of this paper,the possible innovations and the deficiencies in the research process.
