A Study Of Higher Vocational Education Professional Structure In Henan Province

The Higher Vocational Education has two attributes which are higher and vocational, shouldering theimportant task of providing high-ranking technical talents for economic and social development. HenanProvince is a big province of education and the Higher Vocational Education has developed rapidly inrecent years. However, when the scale is expanded, there have been a lot of structural problems and theurgent need for theoretical study should be followed up.Basing on the documental and statistical method, the professional development and non-balancedeconomic theory as well as the theory of educational and economic relations, this article tries to comb thelateral structure and longitudinal skeleton for higher vocational education in professional structure andanalyzes the problems in professional structure of Higher Vocational Education and its reasons andaccordingly proposes to optimize the professional structure of Higher Vocational Education in the relevantcountermeasures, relying on scientific outlook on development and economic development strategic shift aswell as the structural reform of Higher Vocational Education.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is an introduction. It introduces the background of the selected topic, significance ofresearch, core concepts, research review, research methods and research ideas.The second part is the basis of the research on professional structure of the Higher VocationalEducation. It expounds the theoretical basis and practical reliance of the professional structure in HigherVocational Education.The third part is the present situation of professional structure of Higher Vocational Education.Through the statistical data, this paper analyzes the distribution of quantity, industries, cities, schools andthe changes of professional composition and the scale of enrollment.The fourth part is the analysis of the problems and causes of professional structure in HigherVocational Education. Basing on the analysis of the data, it is found that there are existing problems of theprofessional structure in Higher Vocational Education, such as the professional vacancies, coexistence ofrepetition, concentration of the capital city, low degree of professional concentration, fluctuated enrollment scale, and the misfit with the industrial structure. Then the article further studies the causes of the problemsof professional structure in Higher Vocational Education, mainly concluding the factors of social attitudes,government guide, the subject of education, school management and professional construction.The fifth part is the adjustment suggestions for Higher Vocational Education in optimization ofprofessional structure. It is showed for the following aspects: expanding orderly the professional coverage,adjusting rationally the professional layout, enhancing the professional gathering degree, controlling theprofessional repeated set, making the new professional audit rigidly, stabilizing the professional scalestructure and coordinating the specialized industrial structure.The sixth part is the conclusion and discussion. It presents the main conclusion of the paper, statingthe contribution and the innovation of the thesis and discussing the inadequacies of the paper and thepossibility of the follow-up study.
