Gender gap between male and female is objective reality, and the research focused on the gap bearsgreat educational and teaching potential value. By recognizing the gender gap in the education andteaching, the education concept and ideal of the educator are revealed and the educator’s humanistic care isalso shown. As well as school education stresses that education should comply with the general law of thephysical and mental development of the male and female students, it is necessary to launch deep researchand discuss on the specific characteristics of the law of development of the two genders.As a humanistic course, Chinese course can reflect the view and attitude of whole society towards thegender problem in every respect. It is also the most fundamental course in basic education. As a result, fromthe establish of the course standard, to the compilation and audition of the textbooks, and to theinterpretation of the teachers and the understanding of the students, the phenomenon of the gender gapexists throughout every link of the Chinese course from macro to micro. During the process of languagelearning of all boys and girl students, the gender gap causes differences in their grades, and this is one ofthe problem that puzzle the mass of Chinese course teachers, at the same time, it sets obstacle for the fullyimprovement of the of Chinese education level.This article altogether is divided into four chapters besides preface and epilogue: the introduction partintroduces the differences between men and women education level, and points out that the lack of gendereducation in Chinese teaching ideas as well as the lack of the adverse impact of the Chinese languageteaching, on the basis of this put forward to deepen Chinese teaching the importance of gender differencesin the understanding, raises the this topic research significance. First chapter from two aspects of students,teachers, the gender differences are discussed, and analyzes the trend of gender in the textbook. Chapter iifrom the student’s physical, psychological and environmental factors three aspects elaborated the objectiveexistence of gender differences between men and women students, and put forward the question of genderdifferences in language teaching research. The third chapter from several aspects in the process of Chineseteaching are pointed out on gender education, and so brought about by the problem. The fourth chapter onthe two aspects of teaching materials, and to overcome stereotypes and prejudice toward gender gap, thisthesis also came up with several constructive and specific teaching strategies, trying to find the methods ofremoving the unfavorable factors for Chinese study, and to overcome stereotypes and prejudice toward gender gap, thus teaching students according to their aptitude is realized, finally promoting the commonprogress of both male and female students, therefore the students get complete construction.This essay analyzes how gender affects the effectiveness of teaching Chinese, and puts forwardeffective approaches of teaching Chinese based on their gender differences. The significance of this studylies in contributing to the academic research by studying the effectiveness of teaching Chinese, andproviding methodological guidance with regard to the students’ well-rounded healthy development.
