Study On Developing The Ability Of Social Adaptation Of The College Students

The ability of social adaptation of the college students refers the college students can takethe initiative to adjust themselves to keeping harmonious and balance with the society, duringthe interaction with social environment. The ability of social adaptation of the college studentsincludes not only the graduates’ ability to adapt to the environment and survive, but also theunder-graduates’ various abilities to adapt in the colleges, such as the abilities to adapt tostudy, life, interpersonal communication and career development.Developing the ability of social adaptation of the under-graduates is conducive to theirsurvival, health and development. Besides, it contributes to the developing, secure andharmonious society. Faced with even more serious problems of college students’ socialadaptation, colleges, families, society and students must pay their attention to developing theability of social adaptation. In addition, they should take the advantages of their own topromote the ability of social adaptation of the college students effectively.The thesis tries to study the social adaptation status of both under-graduates andgraduates, analyze the factors which affect the college students adapting to societycomprehensively and make feasible suggestions for developing the ability of social adaptationof college students from the perspective of Ideological and Political Education. Firstly, thispaper summarizes the background and the significance, finds out the deficiencies of domesticresearches and identifies the breakthrough of the research by analyzing relevant documentliterature at home and abroad. Then, it explains the main methods the study takes. Secondly, it elaborates the concept and structure of the ability of college students’ social adaptation morecomprehensively and analyzes the importance of developing the ability of social adaptation.Thirdly, it finds out the problems in the ability of college students’ social adaptation bysurveying under-graduates’ and graduates’ ability of social adaptation and enterprises’evaluation of their current ability of social adaptation. Then, it analyzes both subjective andobjective factors which affect the college students adapting to society. Finally, for theproblems in the ability of college students’ social adaptation and combined with influencingfactors, it explores a concrete developing system of college students’ ability of socialadaptation from four aspects of colleges, families, society and students.
