Research On The Family Resilience Development Of Children With Cerebral Palsy

This research adopts qualitative research method and interprets the research data through phenomenological method.After in-depth interviews with the families of 13 children,the recovery process of the children's families was sorted out,and the risk/protective factors existing in the "family-environment" system were summarized.This paper summarizes the basic conditions of the resilience structure in the four stages of "diagnosis--hospital treatment--rehabilitation stage--rehabilitation end",and summarizes the resilience development process of "initial diagnosis period--chronic duration period--recovery period--reconstruction period".This study found that the families of the children went through the shock and imbalance of the family during the initial diagnosis period,the difficulties and pressure of the families in the chronic persistent period,the communication and belief conversion of the families in the recovery period,and the trust and expectation of the families in the reconstruction period.During the development of resilience in families of children with cerebral palsy,internal and external risk factors and protective factors change constantly.In terms of specific contents,the internal and external risk factors of families of children with cerebral palsy include internal conflict of family system,lack of experience,weak economy,solidification of division of labor,relationship breakdown,single social network,cognitive deviation of family members and limited perspective.And the uneven distribution of resources in the environmental system,the absence of social services,and cultural pressures;Internal and external protective factors include unified decision-making of family system,information flow,flexible roles,strong sense of kinship connection,rich social relations,strong adaptability of family members and spiritual perspective;And environmental health care,volunteer programs,diverse social support.Risk factors and protective factors in the families of children with cerebral palsy play a role in the "family-environment" system,forming a three-level recovery outcome.That is,the upper-level recovery of "family balance",the over-recovery of "maintenance",and the lower-level recovery of "vulnerability".Inspired by the above findings,this study puts forward implementation Suggestions for the construction of the family social work service framework and service system for children with cerebral palsy: that is,social workers should take the resilience development orientation as the core service concept,take the resilience assessment results as the basis,and rely on the case management service method to carry out the resilience cultivation service program.
