Since the end of1993, Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China launched theChinese Youth Volunteer campaigns, which has opened a new chapter in the development of Chinavolunteer career. As the main carrier of youth volunteer service, college voluntary organization is animportant force of nurturing and developing the civil society. Student volunteers are important humanresources of the college voluntary organizations. So it is also the key factor of college voluntaryorganizations team building.In this paper, through16volunteers’ semi-standardized interviews form8universities branch ofRed Cross society, concluded the volunteers of college voluntary organizations has the followingcharacteristics: mobility, different expertise, the strong demand of learning and development, Pro-socialtendencies.The volunteer’s Cognitive changes for the satisfaction of the organization as following:satisfaction rising type, satisfaction decreased type, satisfaction curvy change type. The main factors ofvolunteer’s Cognitive changes for the satisfaction of the organization are team leader, team atmosphere,team activities, team motivation. Then the paper analyzed how these factors affect volunteer’ssatisfaction cognitive of organization, volunteer organizations. In the end of the paper, the authorelaborated the ideal college voluntary organization for college volunteers.According to the result and analysis of the study, and based on the study of learning organizationtheory, the writer discusses the importance and feasibility of the college volunteer organizations to builda learning team, then propose measures to build a learning type voluntary organizations. First improvethe organization’s environment, and promote volunteers individual beyond. Second, improving mentalmodels, and deepen the concept of volunteer service. Third, build a shared vision, strengthen themember’s cooperation sense. Fourth, strengthen the team learning, promote innovation in team activities.Finally, system thinking, and building a professional volunteer team.
