Interest is the active psychological activity for people to understand something orparticipate in some activities. For students, interest acts as the driving force for them toactively start their learning activities. The ancients once said:to enlighten people so as tocultivate their interest in study. Albert Einstein also said that Interest is the best teacher forstudents. As a result, a strong learning interest and desire for knowledge is the major factor forthe success of a student.However, as an important subject for senior high school students, Politics is a coursewhich lays emphasis on theory and is hard for students to grow on it. The nature and functionof Politics decides that it could only be a subject of over seriousness and less interest. Besides,the monotonous and dogmatic presented by the teacher on political lessons could also makestudents who have a bad abstract thinking ability feel hard to understand. At last, bothpolitical teacher and students could get tired of political lessons. This situation couldgradually deprive the learning interest of the students. So it is quite important for politicalteachers in senior high school to know how to inspire and light up students’ interest to learnpolitics.Based on practical survey, this thesis mainly involves:Part one: interest-arousing artistry related core concept is analyzed and the connotationand extension of compelling art in senior high school ideological and political lessons areclarified.Part two: the significance of interest-arousing artistry applied in senior high schoolideological and political lessons is analyzed and some principles followed byinterest-arousing artistry are introduced.Part three: the current situation of interest-arousing artistry in senior high schoolideological and political lessons is described and the reasons for the above problems areanalyzed.Part four: discusses the strategies for senior politics teacher in using interest-arousingartistry from the aspects of improvement of teacher quality, upgrading of artistic teachingmethods, flexible using of artistic teaching methods and rational use of teaching resources.To inspire students’ learning ability doesn’t mean that a political teacher should please hisstudents with claptrap words or make their laugh by some jokes or slangs on the class, itmeans that the teacher should try to add some interests into the political knowledge by anartistic method, so as to resonate among students and arouse their potential and interest inlearning activities. This interest-arousing artistic method has a great significance for theformation of a good classroom atmosphere, in which students could get a big progress overtheir learning ability and knowledge.
