To promote higher vocational teachers’ professional moral level is the necessaryrequirement for the development of higher vocational education and the importantembodiment of social advance, ideological progress and cultural prosperity. In thebackground of social change and multi-culture conflicts, social and other institutionshave more expectations and demands on higher vocational effectiveness and teachers’professional moral. Therefore, the development of higher vocational teachers’ moralbecomes an important research topic in higher vocational field. The study of highvocational teachers’ professional moral helps to explore new approaches in order toensure the healthy development of higher vocational education.Based on the previous research, the actual conditions is analyzed on themulti-disciplinary angle. Higher vocational teachers’ professional moral is studiedusing literature research method. The Structural Model of professional moral isapplied under integrating theory with practice of Marxism, and prepared HigherVocational Teacher’ Behavior Questionnaire(the Teacher’s Version) and HigherVocational Teacher’ Behavior Questionnaire(the the Student’s Version). This research,random selected150teachers and150students in4higher vocational schools inQinhuangdao, Hebei Province, summarised present situation of higher vocationalteachers’moral in each moral element. At present, the main trend of teachers’moral isgood. However there are some problems occurring in a small minority teachers, suchas receiving students’ payments, academic cheating, job hopping etc. The maindriving reasons include that the socialist market economic has negative effects onindividual teacher, the absence of teacher management, the lack of self-disciplineprocess of teachers in a small minority. Some specific countermeasures are proposedto solve the above problems: perfecting regulatory mechanism and incentivemechanism, building professional moral education mode for higher vocational teacherunder positive psychology perspective, developing professional developmental assessment and methodology.
