| Classroom is the place where teachers and students get along together. Asthe focus of class has been transformed from knowledge in the past into life today, more and more attention is being paid to the meaning of life in class. So it is believedthat we should respect children and that education is growth and the essence ofchildrens education. That’s why the idea of children’s growth in class has appeared intoday’s education.Verbal activities in Chinese class are an important way to develop students’curriculum ability and some knowledge of Chinese. In our class, the practice of themain activity is the verbal activity similar to the ways to practise listening, speaking, reading and writing. Such activity, specially researched and designed, is aimed to fitchildren’s psychological characteristics since they like exploration, discovery andgames, and at the same time to help children master the language rules, and verbalstructures, thus making a breakthrough in “talking†in Chinese teaching and learning, which has been slow in growing or even has not grown, or sometimes appears that itis growing.“No growthâ€ã€â€œshallow growthâ€and“growthâ€.According to the above understanding, the primary purposes and tasks ofthis research will be to explore the design path, basic strategies and types andevaluating indexes by literature research, practical activity in class and the analysis ofclass. This paper is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the necessity of the research and the design ofclass verbal activities. I will clarify the necessity and possibility of improving thestudents’ language ability by reflecting on the problems that appear during theprocess and analyzing teaching methods in regular classes and display classes.Studies have found that Saussure’s “language theory"†and Li Hailin’s “languageteaching†indicate that the theoretical circle has paid more and more attention toverbal activity and language teaching. However, we have not done much researchinto verbal activity in Chinese class in elementary schools, and teachers haven’t fullyaware of our design for language teaching. The research and design based on children’s growth in class should be one of our important tasks. The second part will give an answer to the problem how to design verbalactivity. In this part, I will carry out the research on teaching and exploring theelementary path, basic strategies and types and evaluating indexes from the practicallevel. This study concludes that there are three stages of the design of verbal activityfor children in class.(1)Determine the “growthâ€;(2) Create an activity situation;(3)Learn how to transfer the structure of learning words. This part will deal with threeapproaches to an activity situation:(1) The strategy of decomposition and integration,in other words, the design of big situations and small situations of the activity;(2)The dialectical strategy, that is, the design of “move†and “still†in an activitysituation;(3) The strategy of being considerate, meaning we should take care ofanything “before†and “after†the situation. Five basic types are also included in thispart:(1) situation with questions about mental analysis;(2) written notation;(3)migration of combination of reading and writing;(4) the guessing game in which thetask is to learn words;(5) verbal practice in imagination. The three periods ofevaluating indexes based on the basic design of the path are as follows. The firststage is mainly about whether it is appropriate, adjustable, and persistent; thesecond stage focuses on whether it is real, big, brief, vivid and positive; in the thirdstage, we look at the participation rate, knowledge learning, knowledge application, rules acquisition, and generation and creation. The third part is just meant to see whether the research and the design ofverbal activity in class have effect or not to confirm the significant effect of suchdesign on improving language learning ability and the overall quality of Chineseliterature. According to the finding, strengthening the understanding of the uniquetext curriculum value by building the children’s growth class and the design of verbalactivity, adopting different kinds of strategies and ways to create activity situations, and paying more attention to the transfer of language structures in the activity canhelp improve language teaching and language learning in the primary school. This study makes a valuable breakthrough in the reform of languagelearning in the elementary school, and it has found some practical and effective strategies and approaches. These research findings make for the academic theorycentered around the growth, and the realization of the concept of new curriculum inclass, and promotes the reconstruction of the language teaching structures, professional level, and the innovation in the ways to learn Chinese in class, thushelping the growth of verbal life of both students and students. |
