Higher vocational students (HVS) become the focus of sociology and psychology. The purpose of this study is to reveal the characteristics of HVS’ resilience and find how life events, neuroticism, adult attachment, general self-efficacy and coping styles affect resilience in order to establish a model of influence factors of resilience. In this study, we use HVS in Henan province as samples and make class as a unit for cluster sampling. We distribute450questionnaires and recycle401questionnaires to test the reliability and validity of adult resilience scale on HVS. Then, adult resilience scales, general self-efficacy scales, Eysenck personality questionnaires (EPQ), the adolescent life events scales, simple coping style questionnaires, the adult attachment scales are distributed to HVS by cluster sampling. We distribute750questionnaires and recycle666questionnaires. We draw the following conclusions:(1) Adult resilience scale for measuring in the groups of HVS has good reliability and validity.(2)The resilience scores of HVS are significantly lower than undergraduates’.The levels of resilience are significantly different on different grades, the resilience scores of first grade students are higher than scores of second grade and third grade students. On the family cohesion and support factors, girls’ score significantly higher than boys’. On the personal ability factor, scores of rich students are marginal significantly higher than poor students’. On the social support factor, scorses of students with parents with higher education degree are higher than students with parents with lower education degree. On the personal ability and social ability factors, scores of students with mother with higher education degree are higher than scors of students with mother with lower education degree.(3) Life events, neuroticism, general self-efficacy, adult attachment, coping styles have significant correlations with resilience. Negative coping style, general self-efficacy, and positive coping style can directly predict resilience. Adult attachment, life events, neuroticism can’t directly predict resilience, but they can indirectly predict resilience by coping styles.
