This study intends to explore the implicitassociation test of ISE and ESE, implicit-explicit self-esteem consistency andalexithymia and the relationship between each factor. Methods Use Toronto alexithymia scale of598college students screening, selectalexithymia high scores were tried and (hereinafter referred to as the " Alexithymia group"), alexithymia low test42people (hereinafter referred to as "not Alexithymiagroup"), all try sex composition, age and length of education by the match. For allparticipants are implicit association test, Rosenberg self-esteem scale of measurementwas trying to level of ISE and ESE level. Will all of the test of ISE and ESE standardscore were subtract, the difference value as implicit and explicit self-esteem consistencyindex. Through the different between groups of implicit and explicit self-esteem level ofcomparison, Alexithymia and each factor (DDF; DIF; EOT) and ISE, ESE, implicit-explicit self-esteem consistency of correlation analysis between different groupsobserved differences in the level of self-esteem and alexithymia and each factor and thedifferent types of SE and the relationship between the structure of SE.Results The level of ESE in the alexithymia group was significantly lower than that ofthe control group[(28.57±4.57,32.44±2.71)],there were significant differences betweentwo groups(P0.001). Each factor of the alexithymia (as difficulty describingFeelings-DDF, difficulty identifying feelings-DIF and externally oriented thinking-EOT)had significantly negative correlation with ESE(r=-0.572,-0.52,-0.56,-0.378, P0.01)the alexithymia was positively correlated with the degree of separation in implicit andexplicit self-esteem(r=0.421),(P0.05).Conclusion The alexithymia group has defects in the process of controlling emotional;Alexithymia as a kind of psychological traits may be influence consistency of implicitand explicit self-esteem.
