Education is an important means to realize the upward mobility of individuals in modern society, and it is also an important mechanism for the reproduction of existing social classes. It is difficult to change the utilitarian and elitist evaluation methods of the education selection test in the short term.Under the system of educational diversion, test scores directly determine whether students can obtain better educational resources and better opportunities for higher education. However, extracurricular tutoring is a private,market-based educational service that will become an effective way to change student achievement and is sought after by parents and students. This research is based on high school extracurricular tutoring, through the five universities in Xinjiang questionnaires and case interviews, make use of survey data SPSS19.0,Stata11.0,N-vivo11.0 software to deal analysis and interview data to analyze the status of extracurricular tutoring in high schools,as well as the factors influencing students' participation in extra-curricular tutoring and the impact of extra-curricular tutoring on academic performance, from the demand side and the supply side that affect the field of extracurricular tutoring. From the perspectives of individuals, families, and schools,we explore the relationship between high school extracurricular tutoring, academic performance, and opportunities for higher education enrollment. We also analyze the game between stakeholders in the field of extracurricular tutoring and use game theory and social reproduction theory to further explain the relationship between the three parties, and ultimately focus on the family, school and society to give a dialectical view of the phenomenon of extracurricular tutoring.Among the possible influencing factors of whether to participate in extracurricular tutoring, gender has no significant effect on whether to participate in extracurricular tutoring. The higher expectation of students' level of education is,the more likely they are to participate in extracurricular tutoring. The reason may be that the higher expectations of their own education level, the higher a sense of crisis awareness and competition that students face in learning; At the family level, the possibility that the wealthy students of the family are more likely to take part in extracurricular activities;although the mother's educational background is higher, the proportion of students participating in extracurricular tutoring is higher, however, the mother's education has a significant negative impact on students' participation in extracurricular tutoring. At the school level, students in the western region participating in extracurricular tutoring are significantly higher than those in the central and eastern regions.Students who participate in extracurricular tutoring in classes are more likely to participate in extracurricular tutoring.Based on the analysis of existing studies, combined with Hanushek's classical production model of educational production function, using PSM method to analyze the influence of extracurricular tutoring on students' grades, under the control of relevant variables,it was found that the choice of participating in extracurricular tutoring had a significant positive impact on the student's performance.Further analysis revealed that there was a significant difference between high school extracurricular tutoring, academic performance and higher education enrollment opportunities. The overall performance is that high school extracurricular tutoring is helpful for the improvement of academic performance and the choice of higher education enrollment opportunities, students with high college entrance examination scores and students taking part in extracurricular tutoring are more likely to choose University of 211 Project. This study is combined with the reality of the respondents, finding the relationship between extracurricular tutoring, academic performance and access to higher education, clarifying the understanding of parents, schools and the community about extracurricular tutoring, and analyzing and thinking about it.It hopes to provide a valuable reference for the public to change the understanding of extracurricular tutoring, and also provides reference for regulating the behavior of extracurricular tutoring institutions, this will change the extreme evaluation of the extracurricular tutoring phenomenon and the dialectical consideration of blind pursuit to rational choice.
