Instructor is an important constituent part of the teaching staff in institution of highereducation, the backbone strength for the institutions to carry out moral education andideological and political education for college students, they are also the mentor and guidefor the college students’ healthy growth. To reinforce the research of the instructor groupconstruction in vocational colleges will be conducive to the improvement of scientific levelof the ideological and political education work and talent training quality in vocationalcolleges, it will also be conducive to achieve the fundamental mission of moral educationand foster the socialist constructors and successors with integrated development in moral,intellectual, physical conditions.In recent years, along with the increasing attention paid to the instructor staff construc-tion by the state, the scale of the instructors in vocational colleges is growing constantly,the quality is also enhanced steadily. While after the upgrading, the student populationchanges, it is hard to change the schooling philosophy, there still exist many issues for theinstructor staff, such as insufficient personnel allocation, unscientific selection andrecruitment, incompetent management and assessment systems, negligence of staff foster,difficulty in quality improvement, and there are some other issues such as unclearprofessional development, phycological confusion and huge phycological pressure, etc.Aiming at the issues existed in the instructor group construction in the newly-upgradedvocational colleges, this article puts forward some feasible solutions and countermeasures.First, according to the characteristic of the vocational college students, erect the instructorworking conception of teaching the students in accordance with their aptitudes, perfect thesystem of vocational college characteristic and strong feasibilities, secondly, activelyoptimize the staff structure, improve the selecting and recruiting system, pay attention tothe integrated quality survey for the staff; thirdly, establish strict and effective managementand assessment systems to scientifically manage the instructor staff according to the realityof the vocational colleges; fourthly, clearly determine the concrete promotional conditionsfor the instructors, set up the professional technical post evaluation organization for theinstructors, intensify the training to facilitate the professionalism and professional develop-ment for the instructors; finally, pay attention to the phycological heath for the instructorsin vocational colleges and enhance their social status, slove their physiographiccalconfusion, formulate emergency preplans for sudden incidents and relieve the phycologicalpressure for instructors.In short, the instructor staff construction of the newly-upgraded vocational collegescovers an extensive field, needs to be paid more attention to actively explore a way ofstable and healthy construction for the instructor staff by making concerted efforts.
