This thesis is aimed to make a study on the relationship between the mathematical notat ion&language and the mathematics education in high school and its teaching methods, including the study of the related theories and its practical teaching designs. This thesis consists of six chapters:Chapter One serves as an introduction, aiming at stating the background, significance and approaches of the study.Chapter Two explains the theoretical base of the mathematical notation&language, including the concepts of the mathematical notation&language, the theories of "zone of proximal development" and Constructivism and the concepts of " high school new curriculum standard". It also makes a historical review of the development of the mathematical notation&language.Chapter Three discusses the relationship among the mathematical notation&language, mathematical thinking and the mathematics education, which further deepens the study theoretically.Chapter Four describes the present situations of the mathematical notation&language, including the researches at home and abroad. It also provides a research on the teaching pratice of the mathematical notation&language in high school and makes a analysis.Chapter Five is the design of the teaching practice of the mathematical notation&language in high school, which is based on the set theory teaching, the simple logical terms and the "function" teaching.Chapter Six is the conclusion. The author summaries the main points of the thesis.
