Intervention On Long-time Inada Ptation To The Institutional Aged Caring

With the booming of institutional aged caring model, currently most of the research on satisfaction and adaptation of the senior citizens are of quantity, which lacks a method of qualitative study. From a social support perspective, with the perceptional treatment and supportive therapy, we are trying to study the senior citizens in a welfare home in F city, trying to find the intervention strategies and programme suitable for the inadaptation of the elderly in institutional aged caring. In this way can we apply this model to all senior citizens.By the qualitative way, including literature, participant observation, interview and case study, we have intervened objects for4and a half month, which shows a distinguished result and promotes their comfort, satisfaction and happiness. The disadvantages of this research:the resource is limited to researchers’ thoughts; there are some limitation in our condition to do research. Above all, with the mushroom growth of social worker, as an institutional social worker, we should act well in the institution, follow the professional moral, offer service with our professional knowledge, thus to enhance the acknowledge of the institutional social worker in society, meanwhile, to show an example for policies and law making in institutional aged services.
