How to develop cooperation ability of students is more and more attention by the school. The middle school stage is a critical period of life, at this stage in the form of group counseling to improve cooperation ability of the Junior middle school students, to improve Junior middle school students to play a guiding role. Cultivating the cooperation ability from the first year of middle school, to lay a good foundation for later learning and life interpersonal. The group training of cooperation ability is designed subject, in line of the level of physical and mental development of the junior middle school groups.For the purpose of this study is to cultivate students’cooperation ability, we adopted group counseling program designed to Changchun City,108junior school students as the subjects, selected12subjects for a period of eight weeks group counseling, the before and after measurements to study whether group counseling is helpful to cultivate the students’ cooperation ability. The results are as follows:1. The cooperation ability level of junior middle school students is above the medium level, the score of seven dimensions of order is cooperation cognitive, interpersonal interaction, conflict management, organization leadership, cooperation emotion, emotional control and cooperation intention.2. There is no gender differences in the level of junior middle school students’ cooperation ability, but the boys overall cooperation ability level is high, the five dimensions of cooperation intention, interpersonal interaction, conflict management, emotional control and organizational leadership on boys than in girls. The only-child and the non-only-child has the remarkable difference in the cooperation intention, there is no difference in other dimensions, but overall the one-child cooperation ability is higher than non-only child.3. Group psychological counseling can significantly improve the cooperation ability of junior middle school students. Between the various dimensions of counseling before and after the significant differences in specific performance:there is a significant difference between cooperative cognition, interpersonal interaction and cooperation ability; there is very significant difference cooperation emotion, conflict management and organizational leadership in three dimensions; cooperation consciousness and emotional control two dimensions there are significant correlation.
