Self-esteem is an important part of individual self concept in the study, many people that self-esteem level and its motivation, academic achievement, personality and so on many kinds of psychological ability is widely related, and from many aspects affect the psychological health level of the individual.In this paper, the concept of self-esteem structure, theory, influence factors were summarized, and by adopting the method of questionnaire, research on the self-esteem of college students, analyses the differences between different gender, grade, and the professional, your family situation, the level of self-esteem, combined with the relevant existing literature discussing differences or is not the main reason of the differences between.The family factor is one of the important factors influencing the level of self-esteem, influence of parenting style on self-esteem has been widely recognized. In this study, researchers used single factor analysis of self-esteem level classification of democratic, authoritarian, indulgent type family parenting styles, to understand the difference between the level of self-esteem from different rearing families in order to. With the data as the foundation, consolidation combined with literature data collection, in terms of family rearing summarizes helps college students healthy self-esteem level advice.Through the analysis of the data found that:(1) college students’ self-esteem level;(2) there is no difference between the self-esteem of college students in gender and region where the surface;(3) and the difference between freshman and sophomore self-esteem level significantly, freshman self-esteem was significantly higher than the sophomore (4;) have significant difference of liberal arts students and normal students self-esteem, liberal arts students self-esteem level is higher than that of normal students;(5) self-esteem of college students in the father’s occupation, occupation, father and mother’s education level, mother’s educational level, family monthly income does not exist differences;(6) from different rearing families of students, differences between their self-esteem level significantly, from parenting style democracy family self-esteem level is significantly higher than the students from authoritarian family and indulgent type students.Finally, put forward five points to improve parenting advice to help students to improve the level of self-esteem:(1) the creation of democratic, warm, harmonious family atmosphere.(2) to the body of the advantages and disadvantages of the objective to children, and help them to promote the advantages, to improve the shortcomings, reduce the self is not harmonious.(3) to help children establish gender role orientation of health, cultivate girls " masculine".(4) ability, especially the children of social or personal think important ability, and try to make children get more comprehensive development.(5) to cultivate children’s moral sentiments.
