Career maturity is the extent to which individual is ready for coping with career development tasks appropriate to his or her age. And it includes knowledge and attitude. Career is an extremely important part of life. For most students, the university is a transitional stage in stepped into the society and workplace. So the development of the career maturity is extremely important for their future employment. According to previous researches, career decision-making self-efficacy and professional commitment play an important role in the development of college students’career maturity. This paper will combined with demographic variables to study the relationship among career decision-making self-efficacy, professional commitment and career maturity.The contents of this paper mainly include three parts:The first part reviews the researches on career maturity, career decision-making self-efficacy and professional commitment in China and abroad. The second part will make an overall analysis on the career maturity, career decision-making self-efficacy and professional commitment. In addition, take advantage of demographic variables such as gender, professional, grade, to analyze the present situation of college students’career maturity. In the third part, according to the statistical analysis of questionnaire statistics, we study the relationships among career maturity, career decision-making self-efficacy and professional commitment, and prove that career decision-making self-efficacy serves as an intermediary between career maturity and professional commitment. Then establish structural equation model. The main conclusions in this paper are as follows:(1) Career maturity, career decision-making self-efficacy and professional commitment not only are in the lower middle level.(2) College students’career maturity has the significant differences in terms of gender, profession, grade, father’s education degree. But it has no significant differences in terms of whether only child or not, with or without part-time experience,location of their home mother’s education degree.(3) College students’ career decision-making self-efficacy has the significant differences in terms of gender, profession, grade. But it has no significant differences in terms of whether only child or not, location of their home, with or without part-time experience,parents’ education degree.(4) College students’ professional commitment has the significant differences in terms of gender, location of their home,profession, grade, parents’ education degree. But it has no significant differences in terms of whether only child or not, with or without part-time experience.(5) Generally, career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity are positively correlated with each other, which indicate that the higher college students career decision self-efficacy, the higher career maturity.(6) The positive correlation between professional commitment and career maturity indicates that the higher college students professional commitment, the higher career maturity.(7) The model of Career maturity, career decision-making self-efficacy and professional commitment has extremely good fitting degree, so career decision-making self-efficacy and professional commitment are good predictors for career maturity. And career decision-making self-efficacy plays a mediating role between career maturity and professional commitment.
