The higher occupation education is an important part of Chinese higher educationsystem, it plays an irreplaceable role in socialist construction of our country. Highervocational colleges undertake the mission to cultivate higher applied talents for thefront line of production, construction, management, services and other aspects,notonly to provide technical and intellectual support for the development of socialeconomy, but also greatly optimize the personnel structure of our country, to promotethe rational distribution of human resources. With economic and social development,the development of higher occupation education has been unable to meet the needs ofthe times. In the era of knowledge economy, human resource is the first resource. As animportant resource in higher vocational colleges, teachers relate to the survival anddevelopment of schools. However,the number of teachers in Higher VocationalCollege, the quality and management situation seriously restrict the education qualityand the development space of Higher Vocational colleges.This paper reviews the current situation of human resources management ofHigher Vocational College Teachers in developed countries, on the basis of theresearch of Higher Vocational College Teachers Human Resource Management of therelevant experts and scholars, has a thorough analysis on human resourcesmanagement of SY Vocational and Technical College, and points out the existingproblems in its management. Through the analysis, the college does not make astrategic planning of human resources of Teachers; teacher recruitment procedure issimple, the candidate’s qualifications are too low, unable to realize the survival of thefittest; teacher training becomes a mere formality, training contents are obsolete, andthere is no guarantee on time and money, so it can not achieve the desired effect oftraining; there exists an equalitarianism phenomenon in salary distribution,and it ishard to stimulate teachers; the teacher performance evaluation system of college is notperfect, the assessment results are not truly related to the promotion of teachers, torenewal of the contract, compensation and benefits, opportunities of training to.After the analysis and evaluation on the teacher human resources managementstatus of SY Vocational and Technical College, combined with human resourcemanagement theory, this paper puts forward the corresponding improvement scheme. Itproposes the establishment of strategic human resource planning and setting up strictrecruitment elimination mechanism makes the college recruit outstanding talented person; establish the scientific training mechanism, continuously improve the level oftheoretical knowledge of teachers, and increase their social experience; establish areasonable salary distribution system, so that the teacher’s income bracket can beopened, and effectively improve teachers’ salary level, diversified welfare policies canmake the teachers stable; improving the performance appraisal system, so it can reflectteachers’ work comprehensively, and the reward policy followed can greatly improvetheir working enthusiasm and sense of responsibility.Through the improvement, we look forward to improving the college teachers’human resources management level, fully mobilizing the enthusiasm of teachers’teaching, scientific research, social practice, and continuously improving the quality ofthe college, promoting the healthy and sustainable development of college.
