With the era and economic globalization’s development, reform of compulsoryeducation moves forward steadily, the competition of comprehensive national strengthamong countries means the competition of the talent in real terms. Education is thecradle of talent’s training. Learners in junior high school are an important period tolearn and grow. As an important bridge convergence of elementary and high schooleducation, it plays a role which can not be ignored. Educators’ teaching ability is a keyfactor to realize the educational effectiveness, so the problems about teaching abilityhave acquired the widespread concern. It has a pivotal effect on the quality of educationin a school as well as teachers’ ability’s improvement. Educators’ teaching abilityincludes four fundamental aspects: teaching cognitive ability, teaching design ability,teaching operation ability and teaching monitoring ability. At the same time, theteaching philosophy, teaching attitude and teaching research ability play anunderestimated role in overall improvement of teachers’ teaching ability. Therefore, inform of surveys, questionnaires, interviews and so on, this dissertation take TianlinCounty in Baise City of Guangxi for example and choose the county’s three juniorschools as the sample engaged in research. On the design of the questionnaire, it’s forteachers and students, along with additional personal interviews. And then, give aresearch so carefully on teacher’s teaching cognitive ability, teaching design ability,teaching operation ability, teaching monitoring ability, teaching research ability,teaching philosophy and teaching attitude in minority region as to understand the basicconditions and problems of junior high school’s teachers’ teaching ability there. I think,some teachers’ teaching abilities still exist many drawbacks from the teachingphilosophy to teaching skills. And this dissertation summarize the factors affectingteachers’ teaching ability in junior high schools from the angle of the participants andthe performer of the teaching ability, including the lack of strength on implementationof the policy etc. Finally, it puts forward some points to improve junior high schoolteachers’ teaching ability in minority region.
