As white-collar female pay more and more attention to their own health,realizing the importance of exercise and finding the implementation of the yogamovement, more and more white-collar women become the main force of the yogapractice. They aim at pursuing the balance of the health of body and mind, expectingyoga exercise can bring them physical fitness as well as make them achieve harmonyand unity in spirit and heart.This paper aims to make us know more about the relationship between thetraining of yoga and white-collar women’s health in mental and physical, and deepenthe understanding of them own. The result of the research provide scientificevaluation and empirical data for the functions, which are called fitness and keeping,of the yoga training, and also service for developing a good habit of self-consciousand building a harmonious inner environment.This paper is conducted by the way of questionnaire and experiment tostudy the effect of yoga on white-collar female’s body and mind health:(1)questionnaire: do the questionnaire survey and analysis the basic situation of themember, EFI and PSPP chart, after and before the experience.(2) Experimentalmethod: this research choose76yoga member of four fitness clubs, jin zhu,limeijinyuan, qunyiguan, good family, in Urumqi as the research object. They do theyoga training for26weeks, twice a week, and the elementary class last for75minutes,mixed class90minutes.Research conclusions are as follows:1.White-collar women who attend the yoga exercise usually at the age of20to39are relatively well-educated, having a stable job with a better working condition,and their salary is between3000and5000Yuan. And the purpose of their training isto strengthen the body and adjust the body and mind.2. There is significant meaning of comparison of the differences in White-collarwomen body shape, body quality before and after the experiment (P﹤0.01) theindicators is better than before the trial after the experiment, and the changes of theamplitude is greater than13weeks ago, and yoga have significant effects on thewhite-collar female in different age paragraph in their body shape and physicalquality. That indicates Yoga practice has made white-collar female body shapeimproved, at the same time it enhanced the physical condition of the white-collarfemale.3. The exercise-induced feeling inventory (EFI) showed the changes of white-collar female psychological characteristics before and after the experiment:after26weeks yoga practice, the life, body and mind calm and positive commitmentof white-collar women presented very significant differences compared with theexperiment before(P﹤0.01), but there was no significant difference in terms ofphysiological fatigue (P﹥0.05). Yoga practice has made improvement ofwhite-collar women’s psychological health level4. Physical self-esteem scale (PSPP) shows that after26weeks yoga practice,the physical self-worth, physical condition, physical attractiveness and body qualityof white-collar women has very significant difference compared with the trial before(P﹤0.01), and the sports ability has significant difference compared with the trialbefore(P﹤0.05). It suggests that the physical self-worth, physical condition,physical attractiveness and body quality of white-collar female has receivedsignificant positive effects.5. White-collar female practice yoga for26weeks, after that their mouse hand,cervical spondylosis, periarthritis of shoulder and the waist pain, and otheroccupational diseases are effectively improved, mammary gland hyperplasia, thehigh blood pressure and diabetes chronic disease have also improved in a certaindegree.
