Basic education course reform to teacher’s role and student’s learning way, curriculum content, curriculum implementation and so on has brought about a series of changes, all these changes put forward new request to teacher’s teaching activities. Case teaching design is an important part of high school geography teacher’s teaching design, also it is the importance of teachers’teaching level. Teacher’s teaching design will directly affect the quality of the classroom teaching and teaching goals. Teachers’classroom teaching design should adopt the teaching communication theory, the enlightenment theory, system theory, communication theory, learning theory and so on, to explore between the factors in classroom teaching and the overall relationship, make comprehensive consideration in case teaching design, coordinate the relationship between them, and the organic combination of various elements together to form a teaching system.In the teaching of geography in common use cases, teachers generally from the following areas:First,Geography textbooks in the case, these cases appear as a classic in the teaching; Second, the case generated in the textbook exploration activities; Third, Teachers in reading, lesson planning, research has accumulated case, These cases from a different side for the teaching of geography provides a wealth of material, teachers and students can enhance the understanding of the content. In high school geography teaching, need to follow the following strategies:fully tap and use of textbooks resources; Adhere to the typical, authenticity, times, teaching, diversity; Concerned about the student experience; Adhere to the principle of inspiration; Full analysis of teaching theory, teaching a prerequisite; Promote case instructional design theory with practice, to enhance the theoretical quality of high school geography case teaching; Rational use of modern teaching media and other technical means to diversify teaching.
