In China,the writing has always taken seriously. In ancient times,CaoPi in the "Code· Papers" has been saying:“the article is a great cause ofnation through event of eternity",the articles mentioned a supreme status.In the new era,writing in multiple aspects of people’s work and life,including people usually letters, diaries, essays, document writing,interpersonal communication and so on. Therefore, from primary schoolto university,students have been carried out writing training,writing hasbecome an important part of Chinese teaching. But, in spite of the writingtraining for many years,the final results from the students’ writing,writing teaching effect is not obvious,there are still many problems instudents’compositions, such as writing material old-fashioned, conceptionis not new,lack of imagination and so on,in the city of Lhasa high school,these problems in writing is often seen in students compositions.Writingbecome difficult for teachers to teach and students to learn.This article through the questionnaire survey, classroom observation,interviews and other research methods investigated and analyzed thecurrent situation of writing teaching in Lhasa city high school,and putforward some teaching strategies to improve the writing level of seniorhigh school students in Lhasa City, so as to enhance the overall quality ofthe chinese. The full text is divided into five parts: The first part: including the origin,the significance and the methodof research and the literature review. Among them, the part of literaturereview summarized the research about writing teaching at home andabroad, mainly from the connotation, target and task of writing, strategiesand principle of teaching,areas of teaching writing literature review toillustrate.as for the research on writing teaching abroad, mainlysummarizes the teaching of writing dynamic of the representative UnitedStates and Japan and their Implications for the Chinese teaching ofwriting.The second part: through the questionnaire, from the students’interest in writing,the degree of difficulty,the guidance of teachers,writingassessment and revision to analyze the teaching problems in Lhasa cityhigh school,and reflect on the status of high school writing teaching inLhasa City,Analysis of the main causes of the problems in the teaching ofwriting.The third part: analysis of the existing problems in the writing ofsenior high school students in Lhasa and its causes.Student essaycommon problems are: Tricky question, grammar-vocabularyerrors,language-pragmatic errors,typos,punctuation errors;articles unclearideas, writing random; less material accumulation, writing tedious and soon.This is mainly because of lack of basic knowledge of Chinese students,the lack of writing skills,materials and other poor. The fourth part: Summary of recommendations for writingteaching.Include improving teachers’ knowledge structure and teachingability; repositioning teaching objectives; using discourse teaching;students develop an interest in writing; writing skills training; perfectwriting marking links; student’s spoken language training; and studentwriting attitude is correct, overcome the psychological fear of difficultywriting etc.The fifth part: the summary.The innovation of this paper: first, the innovation of research objects,the research object of this paper is mainly the Tibetan students of seniormiddle school in Lhasa, this is rare in previous studies. Second, theinnovation of research method, on the one hand,expand the scope of theinvestigation. On the other hand,Analysis of the students’ writing,tofurther discusses the problems in students’ composition. Third,theinnovation of proposals, this paper combined with the characteristics ofChinese as a second language writing teaching and puts forward concretesuggestions for writing teaching in Lhasa.
