| Time management tendency refers to what the psychological and behavioralcharacteristics when the individual presents to use the time.includes three dimensions thatsense of the value of time,efficacy of time and ability to monitor time. Academicprocrastination is the delay behavior in learning situation.time management is the the mostinfluential factor of recognition that lead to delay behavior in learning.This research is an empirical study divided into two parts.part1select819junior highschool students from Urumqi,Investigate their time management and academicprocrastination situation and the relationship between them.part2as a interventionresearch,select9students as the object of intervention study that have synchronousproblems in their time management and academic procrastination.Intervention process8times, each time for60minutes, group counseling as staple method mainly from threedimensions of time management to ameliorate students’serious learning procrastination.theresults are following:(1)Junior high school students have better time management,the synthesized ATMDand its three dimensions average scores of Junior high school students just reached thestandard,the detection rate was17.2%,11.3%,17.9%,30.1%.This part of the students’ timemanagement level has the necessity to improve,in which the efficacy of time and ability tomonitor time requires attention.(2) At the present stage,junior high school students did not show a significant delaybehavior in academic learning, academic procrastination in the overall level is notserious.the synthesized PASS and its three dimensions’detection rate was27%ã€28.9%ã€35.7%ã€62.3%.problems of the degree of delay and the annoyance caused by delay weremore prominent.(3)The time management training designed by this study can effectively improvestudents’time management,and than ameliorate serious learning procrastination.the specificperformance:there is obvious difference between the test of ATMD and its threedimensions before and after;there is obvious difference between the test of PASS and itsdimensions before and after except the dimension that the desire to reduce academicprocrastination. |
