Characteristics Of Minority Students In Contemporary Thought And Ideological Education Path

With the rapid development of market economy and the influence of globalization, there emerge many new changes in the ideological and political education, which bring much affect on the work of ideological and political education. As one of important part of national young students group, the university students of minor nationalities are the successor and the developer of their national excellent culture. For the university students of minor nationalities, there are characteristics in common with the whole contemporary university students, and also peculiarities in psychology and customs, which decides the complexities and peculiarities of the ideological and political education for university students of minor nationalities. So, it is of practical and time significance to strengthen the ideological and political education for university students of minor nationalities.Based on the analysis of the present situation of ideological and political education of university students of minor nationalities, this paper studies the peculiarities and necessaries of the ideological and political education of university students of minor nationalities, and further studies the main factors limiting the improving of ideological and political education of university students of minor nationalities. On the basis of above, the paper narrates the importance of further improving the ideological and political education of university students of minor nationalities for the students themselves, for the country’s stability and union and for the economic and social development of the minor nationalities’ regions.Finally, the paper puts forward the views that in the work of ideological and political education for the students of minor nationalities, the principles of respecting the culture of minor nationalities, putting people as the core and combining the in class education and the out class education should be applied. Based on the above, the paper studies the new paths of strengthening the ideological and political education for university students of minor nationalities.
